Airtel Payment Bank’s major preparations, thus spreading the network of services

Airtel Payment Bank: Bharti Airtel’s Payment Banking Services Airtel Payments Bank is gearing up to expand its banking centers as well as expand its range of services this year in view of growing demand. Airtel Payments Bank Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Anuvrata Biswas said the company aims to increase customer base and average receipts per customer. He said that Airtel Payments Bank will also roll out physical debit cards for rural customers in the second quarter of the current financial year (July-September, 2023). It has already been launched in the city market.

Up to 40 percent growth per year

Airtel Payments Bank CEO said, “There is good demand at this time, so our main focus is consumer choice, sustainable model and cost. The opportunities are limitless as long as we focus on solving our customers’ needs and problems. Airtel Payments Bank has grown by 35-40 percent YoY from mid-2018 to mid-2023. Talking to Language, he said, currently our average revenue per customer (ARPU) is very low. As our product reach increases, so will our ARPU.
