New Delhi: As Meta launched its Twitter competitor Threads on Instagram, online searches for the term ‘Threads’ in the past 24 hours exploded by up to 3,233 percent in countries including the European Union (EU) where the app is not currently available, a report showed on Thursday.
According to data provided by search engine experts, online searches for the term ‘Thread App’ also increased by 4,900 percent during the same period. The digital funnel.
China, Taiwan, Turkey, Brazil and Japan currently search the app the most. “The app is currently unavailable in the EU. But users are discouraged, with searches for ‘Threads VPN’ exploding by a whopping 6,566 percent,” the report showed.
