According to Vespa’s old viral bill, the scooter was sold at this price in November 1961. Apart from the cost of Rs 2129, if a customer were to take tyres, tubes etc separately, the cost would be Rs 78 and the pillion seat would be charged Rs 36. Overall, the Vespa scooter was available around 62 years ago for Rs 2243.
