Jaguar Land Rover EV Jaguar Land Rover, owned by the Tata Group, is establishing itself as a fully electric car brand. JLR chairman N Chandrasekaran said Jaguar’s development as an all-electric luxury brand is progressing according to plan.
He also added that the first new model will be launched in 2025. He told shareholders in the company’s 2022-23 annual report that the UK-based carmaker is set to transform into a modern luxury company.
Jaguar Land Rover is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Motors since 2008. Chandrasekaran said the brand faced a tough business environment in the last financial year. This included many problems such as lack of electronic equipment.
