Feature Phone UPI Payments – UPI payments have changed people’s habits to such an extent that they now stop carrying cash in their pockets. If you thought the UPI payment method was limited to smartphones only, hold on.
The government has also made UPI payment option available to feature phone users some time ago. Feature phone users can make digital transactions with UPI 123PAY.
UPI 123PAY is an instant payment system of NPCI, launched for feature phones. Today’s feature phones come with built-in UPI 123PAY function.
With this service, feature phone users can pay in four ways. These include calling IVR numbers, through apps, payments through missed calls and proximity sound based payments.
First, you need to link your bank account with the feature phone number. After that, you need to set the UPI PIN through your bank card details. Now call the IVR number (08045163666, 08045163581, or 6366200200) from your feature phone.
After that the menu will open, select ‘Money Transfer’ option from the options provided here. Now the contact menu will open. You have to choose the number to which you want to send money through UPI.
