Triumph Speed 400 Scrambler 400X : British company Triumph has launched Bajaj Triumph Speed 400 in collaboration with Indian two-wheeler company Bajaj Auto. Both these bikes are priced below Rs 2.5 lakh. Bajaj Auto and British motorcycle brand Triumph have launched two jointly developed bikes for the Indian market – Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X. The Triumph Speed 400 has been priced at Rs 2.33 lakh. For the first 10,000 customers, the cost will be Rs 2.23 lakh. The Speed 400 will be available to customers from mid-July. The Scrambler 400X will hit the market by October.

Bajaj Auto and British motorcycle brand Triumph have launched two jointly developed bikes for the Indian market – Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X. These motorcycles were unveiled to the world in London last week. The two companies entered into a global partnership in 2017. The Triumph Speed 400 has been priced at Rs 2.33 lakh, both companies said at the event. However, the first 10,000 customers will incur a cost of Rs 2.23 lakh. Pricing for the Scrambler has yet to be announced. The company said the Speed 400 will be available to customers from mid-July, while the Scrambler 400X will hit the market by October this year.
100 showrooms will be opened in 80 cities
Rajeev Bajaj, Managing Director, Bajaj Auto said, “We are expecting significant growth after the launch of the two bikes developed in association with Triumph. He said both the bikes will be manufactured at Bajaj Auto’s manufacturing plant in Chakan. The present capacity of this plant is 5,000 bikes per month. It can be increased based on demand. According to Triumph, about 100 showrooms will be opened in 80 cities of the country in the current financial year. Bajaj Auto and Triumph Motorcycles announced an agreement last month to give Bajaj the rights to the UK company’s sales and marketing operations in India.
