Tesla’s Project 42 CEO and Twitter chief Elon Musk has been accused of building his glass house with the company’s funds. The Tesla board is now investigating the matter on its own behalf. According to the news of Business Today, this has been said in a report of Wall Street Journal. It said the electric vehicles manufacturer’s board has launched an investigation into allegedly using company funds to build a glass house near the Austin-area Gigafactory.
Investigation is being done from these angles
According to the news, members of the Tesla Board have started an investigation to find out whether the company’s resources were misused and whether Musk had any role in it? One of the questions asked in an internal inquiry is how much employee time was spent on the product. The status or results of the investigation have not been revealed yet. Last year, Bloomberg reported that Tesla was looking into the Glass order to determine whether the material was being protected for Musk’s personal use.
Musk tweeted
In the year 2021, Elon Musk revealed on Twitter that he lives in a $50,000 rented house from his company SpaceX in South Texas. He tweeted- My actual home is a $50k house in Boca Chica/Starbase that I rent from SpaceX. This is awesome. The only house I have in the Bay Area is the Event House. If I sold it, the house would be of little use, unless it was bought by a larger family, which could happen someday.
Structure shown in the shape of a glass cube
One concept showed a structure in the shape of a twisted hexagon or a glass cube reminiscent of Apple’s store in Manhattan. It has been said in the report that this can be a personal place, as it includes bedroom, toilet and kitchen. It is learned that Tesla employees were secretly working on this project since last year.
