Range Rover Velar Bookings: Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has started bookings for the new Range Rover Velar in India. Along with opening bookings, the company announced that deliveries of the luxury car will begin from September 2023. Note that the new SUV is sold in Dynamic HSE with two powertrain options. It comes with a 2.0-litre petrol engine, capable of generating 246 Bhp of power and 365 Nm of torque. At the same time, it has a 2.0-litre Ingenium diesel engine, which generates 201 Bhp of power and 420 Nm of torque. Although JLR is yet to announce its pricing, the Velar will compete with the likes of the Porsche Macan and Jaguar F-Pace. It is also being said that deliveries of the Range Rover Velar could start from September.

The Range Rover Velar’s design features a new front grille. Also, there are new Pixel LED headlights with jewel-like effect signature daytime running lights. The strong rear overhang provides balance and highlights the impressive length of the Range Rover Velar. JLR has added two new colors to it. Deep Garnet and Carraway colorways for the interior are done in Metallic Veresine Blue and Premium Metallic Jade Grey.

The 11.4-inch infotainment system along with the dashboard of the new Range Rover Velar is given a curved design. The new Range Rover Velar is the first car to feature the new generation Piwi Pro infotainment, which includes controlling all major vehicle functions within the new 28.95 cm (11.4 in) curved glass touchscreen.

The comfortable cabin of the Range Rover Velar reduces road noise through pioneering Active Road Noise Cancellation technology, ensuring that the new Range Rover Velar offers an extremely quiet experience inside the cabin. The Range Rover Velar comes with electronic air suspension and can raise or lower the ride height by up to 40mm when entering or exiting the SUV. This makes entry and exit easier for residents. The Range Rover comes with the Terrain Response 2 system, which allows the driver to adjust the vehicle’s settings for the driving environment. Also, it has Eco, Comfort, Grass-Gravel-Snow, Mud-Ruts, Sand, Dynamic and Automatic drive modes.

Whereas, its 2.0-litre diesel engine outputs 201bhp and 420Nm. Velar also gets Terrain Response System with Eco, Comfort, Grass-Gravel-Snow, Mud-Ruts, Sand, Dynamic and Auto modes.
