Twitter new feature: Twitter is getting tough competition from Meta’s threads. In just 5 days, Threads had acquired a userbase of 100 million. Many users are switching from Twitter to threads. Meanwhile, the company has rolled out a new feature for Twitter users which will protect them from spam messages. Actually, at present, all people get many types of spam messages on Twitter. Many users had complained about this to Elon Musk and the company. Now the company has released a new feature to prevent spam, which has gone live since July 14.
On turning on the new feature, you will get very less spam messages in DM and you will be able to decide who can send you messages. You will find the new option in the DM section under Settings and Privacy. Here you have to choose the option of Quality Filter. After doing this, you will see DM messages of only those people whom you follow. Verified users whom you do not follow, their messages will go to Message Request. Note, you can change the setting at any time.

Company is giving money to content creators
Twitter is also paying money to content creators like YouTube. Although only a few people are getting money in the beginning. Actually, the company is sharing advertising revenue with selected users. To get revenue, Twitter users also have to fulfill some conditions. Twitter user’s account should have more than 5 million tweet impressions every month in the last 3 months. Also, the profile should be complete i.e. all the information should be in it.
