New Delhi: Google has announced that it is adding an ‘Alt Text’ option to the ‘Image Options’ sidebar in Docs, Sheets, Slides and Drawings. In Google Docs, Sheets, Slides and Drawings, users currently add alt text to photos by right-clicking on the image and selecting ‘Alt Text’, which opens a box where they can input the text.

“Starting this week, we’re making this feature more discoverable by adding it to the ‘Image Options’ sidebar,” the tech giant said in a Workspace Update blogpost.

Additionally, the company said that reps must review existing reps, as well as add new reps, by July 31, or reps will lose access to manage contacts. Administrators can make these adjustments to remove and re-add contact delegation privileges for users in their domain using the Admin SDK API.
