New Delhi: India’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) has announced a recall of 87,599 units of its S-Presso and Eeco models. The company said in a stock market filing on Monday that these units were produced between July 5, 2021 and February 15, 2023. For a long time there were complaints of problems in the steering tie rod of these units.

Vehicle will be fixed at no charge

In a statement issued by Maruti, it is suspected that a part of the steering tie rod used in these vehicles may be defective. This can affect the smooth operation of the vehicle’s steering.
