Record growth in luxury car sales in India, Mercedes-Benz at the forefront

Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Audi registered record numbers in the first half of 2023, with 8,528 units sold by Mercedes-Benz alone. The BMW and MINI brands also registered record sales of 5,867 luxury vehicles, while Audi retail sales grew by 97%. According to Audi India head Balbir Singh Dhillon, the Indian luxury car market is expected to record 46,000-47,000 sales this year, the highest ever.
