Now, adding to the list of cons is a recent incident where a woman said she ordered an Apple Watch from Amazon but received a fake ‘Fit Life’ watch. He also claimed that he made several calls to Amazon India but the customer care executives did not pay attention to his problem. Fed up with the lack of proper customer service, the woman, Sanaya, posted her complaint on Twitter

Sanaya also tagged Apple’s help desk in her tweet. The post has now gone viral.

Sanaya said she ordered an Apple Watch Series 8 on July 8 for Rs 50,900. Estimated delivery date was July 9. After the product was delivered, he said he was surprised to learn that he was given a ‘Fit Life’ watch instead of an Apple Watch.

“Never order from Amazon,” Sanaya tweeted after being ignored by Amazon customer support when she asked for help. He also posted a few pictures of the product and the receipt.

The tweet has received more than 2 lakh views since it was posted on July 11.

After this, Amazon’s official Twitter handle replied to him and said that they are sorry for the problem he faced with his order. They asked him to avoid sharing order details and bank account details on social media, considering it personal information. “Please contact us via DM,” the Amazon help desk tweeted.
