Siachen Warriors In Collaboration With BSNL Established The First Ever BSNL BTS At 15500 Feet To Extend Mobile Communication

To strengthen the communication of the Indian Army in the border area, BSNL in collaboration with Siachen Warriors has established Base Trans Receiver Station i.e. BTS at a height of 15,500 feet. With its help, Indian Army soldiers will be able to communicate wirelessly even from snow covered mountains and flash emergency signals in real time at the time of need. This tower of BSNL will provide security and strength to the Indian Army like a weapon. This is not the first time that BSNL has achieved something in collaboration with the Indian Army in the border areas. Even before this, the company has set records in collaboration with the army in many inaccessible areas.

 

There will be strength in mobile communication

With the help of BTS tower, soldiers will get help in mobile communication and they will be able to communicate easily. At present, the photo taken of Siachen warriors setting up the tower is becoming increasingly viral on social media. An account named Fire and Fury Corps on Twitter wrote that Siachen Warriors, in collaboration with BSNL, used BSNL for the first time on 06 October at the forward posts of the highest battlefield to extend mobile communication to more than 15,500 deployed soldiers. BTS has been established.

ITBP, BRO and Indian Army will benefit

In the coming time, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited i.e. BSNL will install mobile towers in many areas including Nelang and Jadung villages on the international India-China border in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand so that the soldiers can get strength in communication. District Disaster Management Officer Devendra Patwal said that land has been made available to BSNL at many places including Nelang and Jadung and the work of installing towers has also started. Devendra Patwal also said that with the start of BSNL service on the international border, the Army, ITBP as well as BRO soldiers and laborers will also benefit.
