According to the information provided by the company, the company has announced a 1.5 percent increase in the prices of its motorcycles and scooters. The new prices will be applicable from Monday, July 3. The company has explained the reason behind the price increase is the increase in cost. Earlier, the company had announced to increase the prices of their cars on 1 April 2023.
How much will the price increase?
Two-wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp has announced a hike in prices of motorcycles and scooters by around 1.5 percent from July 3. According to the company, the price hike is being done due to price increase and various reasons. The company said that the price will be determined based on different models and markets. Earlier in April too, Hero MotoCorp had hiked the prices of two-wheelers by up to two percent.
Why are prices rising?
Hero MotoCorp said the price hike for motorcycles and scooters is part of the company’s periodic price review. According to a PTI-Bhasha report, the company conducted this review keeping in mind various factors such as price scenario, production cost and business requirements. The company said it will employ innovative financing programs to minimize its impact on customers.
