China-based electronics manufacturer One Plus is expected to launch the One Plus 12 in December. After the success of One Plus 11, the smartphone company has decided to bless its customers with a new and improved version of the phone. Now, Smartprix — also known as Onleaks — in collaboration with renowned tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer has exclusively obtained high-quality rendered images of the One Plus 12 prototype, giving us a glimpse of the likely design to be launched soon. One of the notable changes in this phone from its predecessor is the camera system. The One Plus 12 will have a periscope camera for better zooming capabilities. The periscopic telephoto lens is flanked by a noticeable black stripe that gives a touch of refinement to the gadget’s camera module. On the front, the selfie camera is located at the top in the center. Like its previous models, a punch-hole selfie camera design is also found in the upcoming One Plus 12 phone, according to leaked renders.

According to reports, the phone could feature a 2K display with slim bezels that will support PWM dimming. 150W wired and 50W wireless fast charging is said to be supported by the One Plus 12. Additionally, according to the tipster, the device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Later this year, the new Adreno 750 GPU is expected to complement this device and provide improved performance.

In terms of camera configuration, the device is said to be equipped with a 50MP IMX9-series main camera sensor, a 50MP wide-angle lens and a 64MP Omnivision OV64B periscope lens. The One Plus 12 is likely to have a 5000 mAH battery like its predecessor. The new One Plus will have the same features as the previous model but is now equipped with better hardware and design.
